About Our Society

Carmarthenshire Working Gundogs Society was formed in 1984, the inaugural persons responsible for the formation of Society were from the Carmarthen Area, and they set up the society for the interest of working gundogs

The Society run Kennel Club approved field trials for Any Variety Retrievers, English Springer Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels, trials are held at Open Qualifying and Novice levels. We also run Spaniel and Retriever Tests.
